Neil A Dawson & Company's Mike Watson used his own cycling accident to develop the graphic ad

Last Saturday, advertising creative director Mike Watson came off his bike. Today he created an ad about it. 

The image is of Mike on the road before the ambulance arrived. Given how many new cyclists there are out on the road Mike wanted to send the message out there that a helmet ‘is not an accessory it’s a necessity.’ 

Mike is now recovering at home. Fortunately all his scans were clear. And that was all down to him wearing a helmet. As the paramedic said when Mike came round, ‘If you hadn’t been wearing a helmet it would have been game over’.

Neil A Dawson & Company are in talks with media companies to get advertising space for this important message.
