Today, the Creative Circle’s 2020 Awards opens for entries with an exciting message for young directors and creatives alongside big plans for the future of UK creativity. In a continuation of its ongoing support for the future of talent, all four of the New Talent categories – ‘Best Up and Coming Commercial Film Director’ (Male and Female) and ‘Most Promising Creative Newcomer’ (Male and Female) – remain free to enter this year.
As with previous years, Creative Circle will also pledge 10% of all award entry fees and 100% of membership fees to support greater diversity in the creative departments of the future through the Creative Foundation.
The 2019 awards were attended by dozens of students who had special seats to view the best in UK Creativity. It also saw Creative Circle presidents, Ana and Hermeti Balarin, have their closing speech interrupted by students and young creatives.
Jeremy Green, managing director of Creative Circle, comments: “We are always looking at new ways we can help support young creative talent. We introduced the free to enter initiative for talent categories last year and following heaps of positive feedback from young people and the advertising community, we’re proud to offer the same opportunities this year. 2020 will undoubtedly be a challenging and interesting year for the UK and we have big plans, yet to be announced, for our next steps to celebrate the best in our business. Watch this space.”
The fairest show in the UK, the Creative Circle is the only award show which invites the entire UK Creative community to judge the submitted work.
Registration is open to any creative currently working in the creative industries in the UK. Creative Circle hopes that 2020 sees more creatives join the ranks to celebrate the best the UK has to offer.
