Cream is the annual competition that supports emerging creative talent from across the globe. Held by The Talent Business, the world leader in executive search for creative businesses, it connects young hopefuls to the ECDs of the world’s leading creative agencies and brands.
Dates for entry are July 18th to July 22nd 2016 and can be made by emailing the relevant portfolio link to Nikki Hall: nikki.hall@thetalentbusiness.com. Full details can be found at: www.ttbcream.com
Now in its 17th year, Cream winners have gone on to create famous, award-winning work, become high profile ECDs and start successful agencies. Through Cream, creatives have secured placements at agencies including Droga5, Google Creative Lab, adam&eveDDB, Wieden+Kennedy, Ogilvy and Mother. Previous winners have come from Watford, SCA 2.0, Central St Martins, CUCA, DMJX: Kreativ Kommunikation, Berghs School of Communication and Miami Ad School – Cream has become an international platform for undiscovered creativity.
“Agencies and creative tech companies are fighting to spot raw talent they can nurture in order to future proof their businesses. Cream is the perfect platform to showcase undiscovered creative talent to industry icons who can identify their potential and with them, do something extraordinary”, says Katriona Fraser, Managing Partner & Head of Creative Talent, The Talent Business.
The Talent Business are partnering with Ogilvy & Mather this year who will showcase the winners in a Private View. Some of the biggest iconic names and agencies in the industry judge the work entered but only twenty will be winners. This year’s judges include: David Kolbusz (Droga5 London), Anna and Hermeti Balarin (Mother London), Carlo Cavallone (72andSunny Amsterdam) and Jamie Robinson (Joan New York).
Mick Mahoney, CCO for Ogilvy & Mather London
Cream 2016 will be more ‘in your face’, says Ogilvy CCO, Mick Mahoney: “Everyone at Ogilvy is really looking forward to hosting Cream 2016 at our new home in Sea Containers. But I’m equally excited that we’re introducing a bold, fresh new format with this year’s Cream winners presenting their work live in front of ECDs. It gives the young creative teams a one-off opportunity to showcase their work and personality while hitting London’s top creative directors full in the face with their talent. We have a fantastic new home and we wanted this year’s Cream to have an exciting format.”
The incredible ongoing support The Talent Business has from its hosting agency and the judges all over the world, as well as those that attend the annual Private View, means that Cream can continue to provide the industry with the next generation of creative talent, and the creative leaders of the future.
