Charitable initiative sees INFINITI donating to cancer causes for every winning bracket that fans pick
While fans everywhere started filling out NCAA March Madness brackets during yesterday’s Selection Sunday, CP+B asked them to take a timeout and help fight cancer with the launch of INFINITI’s third-annual “Hardwood Heroes” campaign.
The three new TV spots highlight some of the inspiring cancer survivors who will make up two teams and face off at the San Antonio Alamodome during Final Four weekend. They show Melissa Kovalesky, the 34-year-old mother who survived chronic myeloid leukemia; Paul Nelson, a 31-year-old chef amputee and bone cancer survivor; and legendary University of Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan, who will lead a team at the big game.
With the spots, multiple social videos and the Hardwood Heroes game, INFINITI urges fans to do their part to help fight cancer, which they can do easily through INFINITI’s round-by-round online bracket. For every correct pick, INFINITI will donate to Coaches vs Cancer – a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Since 2016, INFINITI, the Hardwood Heroes, and giving fans have helped raise over $2 Million.
