Covert has unfurled its latest work for The Glenlivet, orchestrated under the creative guidance of CPB London. At the helm of this campaign was Tom Jordan, whose inventive talent has proven to be uplifting. Tasked with a brief as bold as it was imaginative, The Glenlivet sought to weave a visual tapestry that melds together a mixture of existing footage, fresh captures, and digital effects; all threaded together with a singular visual motif. Drawing a leaf from the mesmerising Tesseract scene of the "Interstellar" epic, the campaign was envisioned to spin a kaleidoscopic saga that thrusts the audience through a dynamic and ever-shifting tableau.

At the heart of this visual was the quest to encapsulate light in its myriad forms – a radiant dance through the amber contours of The Glenlivet's storied bottles, erupting into vibrant light flares and imbued with a golden luminance that echoes the whisky's rich, enveloping warmth. This vivid allegory was further nuanced with a subtle film grain overlay, ensuring a fluid transition across the visuals.

The narrative takes wing amidst the rugged highlands, with a monumental '200' adrift over The Glenlivet Distillery, a nod to two centuries steeped in innovation and legacy. This bicentennial celebration is not just a number but a journey through time, encapsulating the trials, triumphs, and transformations that have shaped The Glenlivet into the iconic brand it is today. From its clandestine beginnings to becoming a herald of Scotch whisky on the global stage, each moment of this 200-year saga is woven into the campaign's fabric.

As we navigate from the heritage-rich distillery into the chic confines of a contemporary bar, and then plunge into a vortex of kaleidoscopic vistas, we're reacquainted with the charm and ethos of The Glenlivet. The narrative peaks in a refined party, toasting to the limited edition 12 YO bottle, only to then catapult us backwards in time, paying homage to the brand's illustrious lineage and George Smith's pioneering spirit.

Guided by the sharp creative acumen of Tom Jordan from CPB London, Covert crafted a 30-second advert complemented by two 15-second variations, encapsulating the essence of The Glenlivet's legacy. This collaboration, rich with historical homage and forward-thinking creativity, is one we eagerly anticipate flourishing in future endeavours, as it beautifully marries the brand's storied past with its vibrant present and promising future.
