As countries across South America experienced an Annular Solar Eclipse, Corona collaborated with photographers in Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina to capture the magic. With the sun perfectly aligned to a Corona bottle, it created the illusion of a lime slice in the sky, bringing the brand’s iconic lime ritual to life in a refreshing way.
"The solar eclipse presented the perfect moment for Corona to spotlight our iconic lime ritual while celebrating our roots in nature and connection to the sun,” said Clarissa Pantoja, vice president of Corona Global.
Brazilian nature photographer Marcelo Maragni added, "I've photographed eclipses before, but this is the first time I’ve led a team across five different regions of the planet. We had only a brief window to capture the moment due to the angle required to form the lime, and the results were truly incredible—perfectly embodying the essence of Corona.”
