Core continues their collaboration with Ireland's National Autism Charity, AsIAm in their recent campaign highlighting the barriers autistic people face in education, work, and society. Informed by a study conducted by Core Research, the campaign aims to improve Irish society’s understanding of Autism. The findings of the charity’s ‘Same Chance’ report include:
In response to these findings, AsIAm has launched the Same Chance Campaign which aims to ensure that autistic people are afforded the same chance in every aspect of life, from going to school and making friends, to finding a job and accessing public services.
Collaborating with Core, a TV and digital video campaign was developed starring Jordanne Jones, supported by print, digital and outdoor creative. Core and AsIAm are extremely grateful to the production partners on this campaign who played a significant role in making it happen.
Support from Ireland’s leading media has also made a difference. Core and AsIAm would like to thank the Irish Independent, the Irish Times, the Business Post, the Irish Examiner, the Irish Daily Mail, the Irish Mail on Sunday, the Irish Sun, the Irish Daily Star, the Irish Mirror, the Sunday Times, DMG media, RTÉ, Sky Media, Virgin Media, MediaCentral, UrbanMedia, IRS+, RedFM, PML and Clearchannel.
The campaign runs until the end of the month and the public can donate to the charity at asiam.ie/donate.
