Denver based production company Content/s was recognised as one of The Fifty at the Ad Club Colorado’s annual celebration of breakthrough creative work.
Each year, Ad Club Colorado brings together creative minds and businesses to celebrate boundary-breaking work that encourages others to ‘think outside the box without compromising creativity.’
This year’s competition marked the first time that any work could be submitted, as long as it had been touched by someone living in Colorado. Encompassing bold visual concepts to 360’ campaigns, it recognised work that was ‘conceived, born or nurtured’ in Colorado. The expanded reach of the competition was reflective of a wider industry truth – that creativity is limitless thanks to connection and collaboration.
By expanding the reach of this year’s competition, it allowed Ad Club Colorado to bring the wider creative community together to celebrate the exceptional work that’s made when people come together in Colorado and beyond.
It was a successful night for Content/s, whose spot for the North Carolina Education Lottery was named as one of the top 50 ideas by Ad Club Colorado. Created in collaboration with Denver-based agency, Cactus, and directed by Brendan Beachman, the spot explores the big dreams that come with imagining a lottery win – that even include turning your spouse into a musically inclined octopus.
Leslie Allen, founder and executive producer, Content/s commented on the recognition, “We’re thrilled that our company along with director Brendan Beachman have been highlighted in the top 50 ideas conceived and/ or nurtured in Colorado.
“Collaborating with Cactus Advertising, we were able to create an unforgettable spot for The North Carolina Education Lottery bringing an octopus to life in ‘Bonus Edition Dream!’ We pushed conceptual boundaries, allowing us to create multiple worlds combining puppet animatronics, practical effects and VFX within one spot.”
