Award-winning digital content agency and media network Little Dot Studios (an All3Media company) has appointed Connie Hodson as interim director of acquisitions and programming, covering Caitlin Meek-O’Connor’s parental leave.
Reporting to CEO Dan Jones, Hodson will oversee content acquisitions for Little Dot Studios’ 35+ owned network channels, which sit across several genres and on various digital platforms, as well as its seven FAST channels which launched two years ago and are now in 20 countries on more than 12 platforms globally. She will be responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating large content partnerships and output deals for our network team with a focus on fresh English language content, as well as French and Spanish True Crime and French History content. Hodson will also work alongside Richard Young, director of syndication, to maximise the FAST opportunities for Little Dot Studios’ global partners.
Hodson brings more than two decades of experience in commercial and acquisitions strategy and management. Connie joins Little Dot Studios from Beyond Rights where she was head of partnerships and business development. Prior to that, she had spent five years at Fox Networks Group as vice president of content and marketing following a 12 year career spanning across Sky Vision and Parthenon Media Group Limited, where she held the title of Commercial Director.
Dan Jones, CEO, Little Dot Studios said: “Currently we licence over 15,000 hours of hand-picked long-form content for our owned network channels which are watched by over 40 million subscribers and reach over 100 million unique viewers every month, and these numbers are continuing to increase at an impressive rate. Connie is the perfect person to join and continue to deliver on the strategy and ambitious targets set by Caitlin the team.”
Connie Hodson added: “I am very excited to join the talented team at Little Dot Studios. They have built an extremely successful business around innovation, collaboration and partnership and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to be part of their future.”
