Dom Joly, documentary filmmaker, author, journalist and comedian has now added Commercial Directing to his CV. His first project with Good Egg is a campaign for Natwest through M&C Saatchi using hidden cameras to film passers-by as they sit and interact with a talking sofa.
Dom is a busy man, with a weekly column for the Independent on Sunday, and an award-winning travel writer for the Sunday times. His fourth book is coming out early next year adding to his previous works, most notable 'The Dark Tourist', a travelogue from his trips to North Korea, Cambodia, Iran, Chernobyl & Lebanon. His TV shows for the BBC, Five & Sky One have all been hits, including the acclaimed travel series 'Dom Joly's Happy Hour' that ran on Friday nights on BBC One. He is also known for the comic documentary 'Dom Joly and the Black Island' in 2010 and inspired by his literary hero Tintin.
Dom is probably best known for his success with Trigger Happy TV whereby he uses hidden camera techniques to capture public reactions.
