Global food-specialist creative production company, Chuck Studios, has announced the appointment of several local and international members to its talented team in Amsterdam. The new hires bring a diverse range of skills, expertise, and experiences across the production, SFX and creative aspects of the business.
Adding to the team is Dutch-Kiwi Vince Bouchier who joins as food stylist. Having spent a decade as a world-travelled chef, his insights from different cultures and cuisines will bring a valuable perspective to food depiction. Beefing up the word-side of the business, Ximena Pineda, a native of Guatemala, is joining Chuck as culinary copywriter.
On the production side, Martijn van de Vrie joins Chuck Studios as a senior producer. Martijn has previously worked at Lukkien and Bruut, where he contributed to projects for clients such as Phillips, Air France KLM and the Dutch government. His expertise will help enhance the development of exceptional content for clients. Former Bruut colleague Ellen Timmer has also joined the Chuck Studios team. She started her production career at creative content agency Uhu Productions. Meanwhile, Tyler Hutton, a New York native joins as Production Manager and Tammo Kasteel, who is currently finishing his studies in Creative Business joins as production assistant.
Amsterdam native, Kim van Gelder, takes on the role of business controller. With her passion for solving financial puzzles, Kim’s skills will be crucial in ensuring the continued smooth financial operations for the company.
Fernando Garcia joins Chuck Studios on the business development and sales side. Intent on studying law, Fernando chose instead to pursue advertising - venturing first into music videos and then smoothly transitioning into crafting TV commercials. This experience will inform his work on the Business side of Chuck.
Meanwhile, Leonardo Grassi joins Chuck as SFX assistant. With his VFX experience working for clients such as Nike, Adidas, Google, and Coca-Cola, Leonardo's expertise in special effects and his drive for innovation will continue Chuck Studios’ journey of making food and liquid behave in unconventional ways for its clients in Chuck Studios' Special Effects (SFX) Lab.
