Stitch has announced the promotion of assistant editor Chris Wilson to the main commercial roster, marking an exciting milestone in his career with the company. Chris’s passion for editing was sparked while creating skateboarding videos, going on to study Film and TV at London College of Communication, specializing in editing, he quickly honed his skills and began carving out his place in the industry.
Since joining Stitch in 2017, Wilson has consistently impressed with his creative approach, working on high-profile music videos and commercials for major brands. He’s collaborated with directors such as Pip and Lib, Luke Brookner, and numerous projects with Nathan James Tettley, including Dave’s ‘Funky Friday’ featuring Fredo, which has amassed over 100 million views. His music video work includes edits for artists like Stormzy, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Burna Boy, and Nothing But Thieves. He’s also cut commercial spots for brands including Urban Outfitters, Champion, Adidas, Chelsea FC, New Balance, and Specsavers.
Most recently, Wilson worked on Heirlooms, a powerful short film created for Suicide&Co with agency VML. The hard hitting project, which reflects executive producer Will Castle’s personal experience following his father’s suicide, was produced by Sticker Studios and directed by Luke Brookner.
