Chris Burkard Joins Loveboat’s Roster of Talent

Transatlantic creative production company Loveboat, which launched last year, has signed Chris Burkard to their diverse cooperative of directors and inter-disciplinary artists. Loveboat is defined by its commitment to mentorship and director development, its passion for rich storytelling, and its dedication to progressive cultures. 

California native Chris Burkard is an accomplished photographer, filmmaker, explorer, creative director, speaker and author. He travels throughout the year to pursue the farthest expanses of Earth, and works to capture stories that inspire humans to consider their relationship with nature, while promoting the preservation of wild places everywhere.

 

Layered by outdoor, travel, adventure, surf, and lifestyle subjects, Chris is known for producing images, both moving and still, that are punctuated by untamed, powerful landscapes. Through his almost four million followers on social media, Chris strives to share his vision of wild places with people, and to inspire them to explore for themselves.

 

“I fell in love with Chris’s photography a number of years ago. The photography led me to his filmwork which is equally breathtaking and inspirational. I felt quite strongly that Loveboat could provide Chris with some opportunities, outside the obvious brands, to expand his already impressive portfolio,” says Jeff Baron, managing partner of Loveboat US.
