This month, Chobani – the #1 selling yogurt in America – is launching a new digital and social media campaign to support its kids line, Chobani Champions. Building off the success of the “Win the Day” TV and print campaign from earlier this year, the company worked with Big Spaceship to develop Chobani Champions Photo Studio. This proprietary Facebook enhancement invites parents to quickly and easily turn their favorite pics into masterpieces by editing with custom filters, frames and text – functions familiar to smartphone users, but never seen before on Facebook.
Edited photos can be shared across users own social platforms and will also be added into a “Win the Day” gallery meant to celebrate the little wins and creative ways parents and kids overcome everyday challenges like only wanting to wear a costume to school and not eating green food on Tuesdays. Parents can sympathize with one another’s stories by clicking the customized “I can relate” button, which replaces the “Like” button under each image.
This unique campaign is just another example of Chobani’s best-in-class approach to listening and responding to consumers’ behaviors and interests online and offline. Photo taking and sharing is already a natural practice for parents. The Chobani Champions Photo Studio, developed in conjunction with the team at Big Spaceship, enhances this trend by giving fans a tool that turns their photos into masterpieces they can easily share with their Facebook community of friends and family.
