Assembly announced the appointment of Catherine Warburton as Chief Investment Officer, effective May 6. In this role, Warburton will be responsible for leading media buying across television, radio, digital video and print, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Martin Cass. She will succeed Peter Knobloch, who is retiring.

Her deep experience working with both network and local broadcast, as well as her expertise in the digitization of media, will be a strong asset for Assembly as we continue to broaden our innovative client solutions.”

Warburton most recently served as vice president of business development at FOX Sports Media Group. Prior, she held several roles at Universal McCann, most recently as executive vice president, managing partner of U.S. integrated investment, where she managed more than $2 billion multimedia investments for clients such as Sony, L’Oreal, Chrysler and Charles Schwab. Warburton started her career at Media Buying Services.
