Carnage Heads to the Nurburgring with Nio to Capture New Lap Record

The Nio EP9 was back at the Nordschleife last week to try and set a new overall lap record. It had already broken the lap record held by an electric car back in October last year.

Production company Carnage was there to film the latest record attempt, with director Yannakis Jones at the helm. The film will combine footage of final car testing in Spain, with all the on-the-day preparations, interviews with the key team personnel and driver, and, of course, the record-breaking lap itself.

The film was shot over one day at the legendary circuit with a combination of Red Epic, Black Magic, Go pro and DGI 1 & 2 drone cameras.

The teaser film will arrive very soon, followed by the full length film shortly afterwards.
