El Ojo de Iberoamérica is one of the world’s premier advertising festivals and this year marks 27 years of raising the bar on creative excellence

El Ojo de Iberoamérica is one of the world’s premier advertising festivals and this year marks 27 years of raising the bar on creative excellence and recognising world class talent in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking creative communities. The festival recently announced its 2024 Jury Presidents and Carlos Andrés Rodríguez, global creative director of MullenLowe, will preside over the El Ojo Film jury.

Each of the presidents will be tasked with leading their juries to choose the best ideas and work from the region as well as the best work created by Latino professionals around the world. The award show, which includes conferences and workshops, will take place November 13-15th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Carlos is one of Latin America's most awarded creatives, with more than 350 awards to his credit, including the Black Pencil of the Decade at D&AD and the First Titanium Lion in Latin America in 2012, for his work "Rivers of Light", for the Colombian Ministry of Defense; and the first Grand Prix for Innovation for Latin America in Cannes, for 'My line', created for the Ministry of Communications and Technology of Colombia, in 2018.

Carlos was named one of Adweek's '100 Most Innovative & Inspiring Individuals' in 2022 and the most admired advertising professional in Colombia according to SCOPEN 2022. Part of his work is included in the book Game Changers de Cannes Lions, and he has been a member of the jury at Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio Awards and El Ojo de Iberoamérica, among others.

Throughout his career, Carlos has worked on very notable campaigns for the National Government of Colombia like the historic Peace Process in Colombia, and the International Project for the Education of Pope Francis. He has done local, regional, and global work for clients such as AB InBev, Unilever, Edgewell, Bayer, Burger King, and Aruba Tourism Authority, among others.
