Marketing communications agency Campbell Ewald today announced that it has been named the first agency of record for Valero Energy Corporation, an international manufacturer of transportation fuels, petrochemical products and power, following a client-led review. This appointment marks the seventh new business win for Campbell Ewald in seven months, following Travelocity, Empire State Development and Country Inns & Suites, among others.
Campbell Ewald’s scope of work for Valero Energy Corporation will include branding and creative, as well as media planning and buying. The agency will also be charged with creating B2C and B2B initiatives that raise the profile of Valero’s branded gasoline, developing programs that improve consumer experiences, and supporting distributor relations and operations. The account will be run out of Campbell Ewald’s San Antonio office, with additional support from the agency’s Detroit office.
