Every city should have its own development strategy: what it wants to be in the future, what it will take from the past and how it should live now. But the city's strategy cannot work without the people who live in it.
In cooperation with the Friends of brands agency and with the support of USAID, linza agency created a series of videos that would motivate people to join the creation of the strategy of Kramatorsk for 2022-2025. It was important to tell the stories of the residents of Kramatorsk. So linza agency showed people who believed in themselves and were able to change something for the better.
Our heroes are not actors.
Three people became the heroes in the frame. Engineer Evgeny. He is a manager at the factory, but this does not prevent him from playing in an amateur theatre, dancing and singing. He breaks stereotypes just as much as his factory and his Kramatorsk. Next to the industry, there is a cultural movement here.
The second person is Dr. Olena. Very kind and caring. Together with her colleagues, she develops their hospital and does everything to make it convenient and comfortable for the residents of Kramatorsk. For example, they created a call centre.
The third hero is Vasyl, an IT expert who, in addition to developing the IT industry in Kramatorsk (has his own company), is also a member of a public organisation that develops the city's infrastructure. For example, he deals with the issues of bike lanes and reclaims space from those who drive cars.
The results.
The communication campaign was launched, the city residents joined in the creation of a public strategy, and video views in local groups of Kramatorsk on Facebook increased to 40,000.
People = city.
During the war, Ukraine suffers from destruction. However, the main things are not buildings, but the people. People who will revitalize and rebuild cities with their work. That's why getting involved in the strategy and changes will be more important than ever. After all, our cities will need us.
