Cabello’s “Senorita” is Spotify’s Song of the Summer
Also featuring Sony/ATV songwriters Charli XCX and Jack Patterson of Clean Bandit among its songwriter credits, “Senorita” has been streamed on Spotify worldwide more than 565 million times since its June 21 release. The song climbed to No. 1 this week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the U.S. and has been a No. 1 hit in a number of other territories, including the U.K.
Sony/ATV songwriter Ed Sheeran has Spotify’s No. 2 hit of the summer with “I Don’t Care”, which he recorded with Justin Bieber and which was the lead single off his global chart-topping album No.6 Collaborations Project. Sheeran also ranks at No. 6 with “Beautiful People” alongside fellow Sony/ATV songwriter Khalid.
