Touching piece directed by Jacopo Farina was inspired by Lucha Libre, a form of traditional Mexican boxing

C 41 presents, in collaboration with Vogue Ukraine and the production company K48, a new fashion film which tells a story that seems obscure to many people.

The film is directed by Jacopo Farina, director of countless works including the latest video by Baustelle and the Italian artist Cosmo. The costumes and the story are the result of the creation of the stylist and creative
director Giulia Revolo.

A story of fight, passion and tradition. A story that through unusual locations and gaudy clothes tells of a brave Mexican wrestler.

The story is inspired by the Lucha Libre, the traditional Mexican boxing, staged in a particular and innovative way. In this sporting practice every fighter wears a mask that characterises his character by hiding the real face. Luchadores are not just fighters but proper prophets in which people could trust and believe. Instead of over a ring, the whole story is set in a luxurious, carpeted office and each scene is accompanied by a melody reminiscent of Mexican folk festivals to end in a cascade of ticker tape with our winning main character and fully dressed as a true luchador.

El Santo is a real character, it was one of the world champions of Lucha Libre and national symbol of Mexico, it's practically a hero!
