The agency provides the soundtrack to three of the week's biggest ads

It’s been an amazing week at Woodwork Music with the airing of three new major ads featuring bespoke tracks from Woodwork composers.

First up is the Audi “Duel” spot by Venables Bell and Partners. The ad was directed by Ringan Ledwidge (Rattling Stick) and aired exclusively before and after the first Presidential debate between Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. It features a brilliantly choreographed fight sequence in reverse and a suitably driving score by Woodwork composer Philip Kay. The spot also features 18 “Easter Egg” clues which refer to the election.

Next up, Adweek’s ad of the day, the new Adobe “Secret Agent” spot for Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Directed by Steve Rogers(Biscuit Filmworks/Revolver) the spot was the launch ad at Advertising Week in NYC and will be featured prominently throughout. It depicts a suave secret agent coming unstuck due to some “computer says no” issues while trying to check into a hotel after completing his mission. Woodwork Bespoke created an action packed orchestral score for the fight sequence and played it straight and tense through the hotel scene to heighten the comedy.

Last but by no means least we created a score inspired by classic 80s family films for the new (jolly) Green Giant teaser from Deutsch NY. The music helps dial up the magic, mystery and wonder surrounding the return of a certain iconic advertising figure. The cinematic spot was directed by Patrick Daughters (Gorgeous).
