BRW Filmland LA Adds John Quinn as Executive Producer

BRW Filmland Los Angeles has added John Quinn as Executive Producer. Coming to BRW after serving as Head of Production at Boxer Films, Quinn has over 20 years of production experience, working on a wide range of productions across film, commercials and digital. At BRW, he will work to expand the company’s client base as well as source new talent to grow the directorial roster.

Says BRW Filmland Los Angeles EP Gianfilippo Pedrotti, “John is an industry veteran who brings years of experience in all facets of production and our business as a whole. His passion for filmmaking, storytelling and style, as well as his keen eye for talent, is the perfect match for our company.” Adds Quinn, “BRW is such an international shop, and I really admire their strong creative and entrepreneurial spirit. I’m excited to come on board to work on a wide range of domestic and international productions, and continue to grow their roster.” 

Southern California native Quinn naturally acclimated to the production world as a film student at the University of Southern California. He worked alongside classmates to produce and develop content, cementing a passion for bringing creative visionaries’ ideas to life on screen. He landed his first professional gig as a PA at Limelight, later moving on to Propaganda Films, learning the ropes from deep within the production trenches. In 2001 he joined Boxer Films, first working as a freelance producer and eventually serving as Head of Production, collaborating with numerous repeat agency clients including 180 LA, RPA and Team One, among numerous others.   

When not producing with BRW, LA resident Quinn continues with his passions of photography, travel and collaborating with leading producers and directors on new creative pursuits.
