Flame artist has worked on a number of projects for major brands

 

Brand New School welcomes Flame Artist Mark French to their team of top creative visual effects talent. French has joined BNS after nearly a decade of freelancing as a Flame Artist and VFX Supervisor at top VFX Facilities in New York including The Mill, Psyop, MassMarket, Framestore, and - of course - Brand New School.
 
French has worked on numerous award-winning projects for major brands such as Verizon, Sprint, FedEx, Nike, Guiness, Budweiser, Toyota, HP and Lincoln, contributing to VFX-intensive spots like IBM’s  “CEC” and “Driverless” for Ogilvy NY, Bud Light Platinum “Factory” for Translation, HP “Evolve” and Sprint “Supermarket” with Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, and Toyota RAV4 “Fold Out” with Saatchi and Saatchi.
 
After graduating Ithaca College in upstate NY, French headed west to LA and worked in on-set production before taking a position at pioneering design firm Pittard Sullivan, where he went on to become a junior compositor/animator.  From Pittard Sullivan he moved back to New York where he joined Manhattan Transfer and began to hone his VFX skills.
