BMG is launching a new global Benefits program offering discounts and value-added services to its songwriter and producer clients.
Enrollment for the initiative opened today on the company’s myBMG app, its industry-leading one-stop service platform.
The initial slate of benefits includes exclusive partnerships with a raft of class-leading creator tool providers including Ableton and Splice. The program marks a new extension of BMG’s strategy to offer clients a complete suite of services covering every aspect of their careers.
BMG EVP global repertoire and marketing, EU, APAC & LATAM Dominique Casimir said: “Wrapping ourselves around our clients’ interests is at the core of what we do. Many of our songwriters and producers have expressed interest in early, privileged or discounted access to the best creator tools and we’re delighted to unveil an initial slate of some of the biggest names in the space.”
The Benefits program includes discounts, product trials, support, and exclusive partnerships with key international players in production software and hardware, music equipment, in-ear monitoring, instruments, and sound libraries.
With the plan to further expand the global partner network to different areas, key partners already collaborating with BMG include:
- Ableton – One of the most innovative digital audio workstations in the world
- Adam Audio – One of the leading studio monitoring manufacturers from Berlin
- Chartmetric – Music data analytics tool to monitor your releases
- Kiss Your Ears – Affordable acoustic treatment for the studio
- Splice – The leading royalty-free sound library and creator tools source
- Teufel – Europe's largest direct seller of audio products
- Vision Ears – High end & customized in-ear monitoring systems
BMG director A&R publishing GSA, Marc Johlen, who initiated and led the launch of the program, said: “We aim to cover every aspect of music-making. The program will give our clients access to a global partner network and enable them to more easily try out new products and tools.”
The new initiative is just the latest enhancement to the myBMG app, which started out as a royalty reporting portal, a move subsequently emulated by most international music companies. myBMG has since morphed to become the first point of contact for BMG clients enabling them to manage an increasing number of routine and value-added tasks.
