Brooklyn creative agency Big Spaceship today announced the promotion of Ranae Heuer to the role of managing director, a new position at the agency, effective immediately. Reporting to Founder & CEO Michael Lebowitz, Heuer is tasked with strategically steering the company and developing partnerships with its clients as well as staffing, contracting and ensuring the most innovative digital solutions are brought forward.
Prior to her promotion, Heuer spent four years leading Big Spaceship’s client service and Production teams, keeping the collaborative gears shifting smoothly by ensuring quality work was delivered on time and within budget. During her tenure, Ranae has made significant contributions to the agency’s new business growth and to helping shape the agency’s culture. She has been deeply involved in the agency’s work for Google, Wrigley and Chobani, and she led the GE Healthymagination campaign. The mother of twins, Ranae is also the first working mom at Big Spaceship, leading the way for other young women at the agency.
Before joining Big Spaceship, Heuer built her expertise at Organic, Wunderman, and JWT managing digital programs for Bank of America, Martha Stewart, Unilever, Chrysler, Ford, and others. She holds an MBA from University of Michigan-Dearborn.
