Beyond will work with Hopster to create digital activity for August

Beyond at Manning Gottlieb OMD is proud to announce its appointment as Hopster’s first planning and buying agency following a competitive pitch.

Hopster is the safe, ad-free TV & learning service for preschoolers that combines access to award winning kids shows such as Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, Babar, and Max & Ruby alongside educational games that tie in to the content the kids are watching - all within a safe, U-rated environment. Launched in December 2013, the subscription-based app has already been downloaded more than 100,000 times in the UK, and recently announced an exclusive deal for the extremely popular family favourites The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child.

Hopster joins Beyond’s expanding client list of entrepreneurial businesses which include airbnb, kabbee, zopa, and nest. As Manning Gottlieb OMD’s growth consultancy, Beyond will work with Hopster to create sustainable demand to achieve their business objectives, starting with digital activity in August.

Marie Steinthaler, Head of Marketing at Hopster comments: “We’re very excited about working with Beyond to grow our user base with clever, fun campaigns, kicking off with a summer campaign that combines a digital push with a gorgeous, personalised goody for our subscribers. At Hopster, we care about making screen time better for kids, so the more families know about us, the better – and Beyond’s experience with entrepreneurial businesses helps us get the word out in a manner of creative ways that suit our setup and objectives.”

Gavin Conway, Client Business Director at Beyond adds: “We are delighted to welcome Hopster into the Beyond family of entrepreneurial brands.  They are at the forefront, and a fantastic example of the shift in media and educational consumption patterns that will become the norm for future generations.”
