BBH London has promoted Karen Martin to Deputy Managing Director. She will work with Managing Director Adam Arnold sharing operational management tasks within the agency.
Karen joined BBH in April 2016 as Managing Partner and has spent the past year leading the Tesco business, which she will continue to do alongside her management responsibilities. The Tesco account has experienced a stellar year under Karen’s stewardship, with recognition from a plethora of publications.
Adam Arnold, Managing Director of BBH London commented: “What Karen has accomplished since arriving at BBH is incredibly impressive and this promotion is very deserved. I’m delighted to have Karen as a partner, she is nothing short of awesome. Or, to borrow her favourite descriptor, deadly.”
Karen joined BBH after 14 years in Australia’s ad industry. She was Managing Director of Host Sydney where she ran the agency’s largest account, Bankwest, and won and ran Pizza Hut and Lion Beverages.
Prior to Host, Karen worked at BMF (B&T’s Australian Agency of the Decade) as a key member of its Account Management team. In her time over there, she developed some of the most awarded work in the category.
Karen Martin said: “I’ve been a fan of BBH for years and the past 12 months have confirmed that the agency is a perfect fit for me. I’m surrounded by talented and lovely people, and can’t wait to get stuck into my new role.”
