It’s both a world and a TV first. Forever at the forefront of broadcasting, BBC Click has successfully raised the bar again. How you ask? By producing an entire episode in 360 degrees.
That means all features and all reports are in 360. And as highlighted by the BBC, it also means that "there are no behind the scenes. Everyone is in shot at all times so had better be doing something useful". The effect that it has is a more informal, familiar style of broadcasting with some unbelievable shots. Great for the viewer but as you can imagine, pressure for the crew.
It is definitely technology at it’s finest. And if the promo is anything to go by, you’ll feel like you’re watching the future unfold before your very eyes. Naturally, the music chosen for the promo needed to follow suite so Red Bee Media turned to Focus Music. With it’s triumphant and uplifting dose of bright optimism, Focus Music’s track ‘Jet Stream’ was the perfect choice.
So whether you’re tech obsessed or just want to see the world like you’ve never seen it before, be sure to catch the episode. And if you’re after more of the same music wise, check out Focus Music’s album ‘Believe’.
