Batiste Dry Shampoo Escapes the Algorithms to Enter the Natural World

To celebrate the launch of their Natural Extracts range, Batiste have brought on Lisa Paclet to direct a playful metaphor around escaping the digital universe; our protagonist extracts herself from a dull existence and into a vibrant natural world; using Batiste’s iconic dry shampoo to get her there. 

From director, Lisa Paclet: "After two years of the pandemic everyone seems to longing for real connections with friends, and with nature. So with this film we say “enough of the dull lonely life on the feed! Let’s escape the algorithms and re-enter the natural world!”. To me It was really important that visceral feeling of nature; vibrant and alive. That’s when we decided to also “escape” to shoot in South Africa. There I was amazed by the ever changing landscapes, the profusion of birds and flowers and how the morning sun rays filter over Table Top Mountain. Unforgettable, a real Eden.”
