B-Reel Promotes Zack McDonald to Chief Creative Officer

Independent creative agency, B-Reel, has promoted Zack McDonald to chief creative officer. Zack will oversee creative work across B-Reel’s offices in Stockholm and New York. He will also focus on building even stronger relationships with B-Reel’s client partners, mentoring and supporting teams and recruiting world-class talent. Zack joins the newly created management team within B-Reel’s creative agency offering which includes MD, Oscar Erlandsson and executive director of operations, Rebekah Cabré. B-Reel also has a specialist digital product and experience design Studio in LA and Barcelona.

With almost 20 years’ experience at some of the most renowned agencies in the world, including KesselsKramer and Anomaly in Amsterdam, McCann in New York, R/GA in Portland and B-Reel in Stockholm, Zack’s work for brands such as Converse, IKEA, Nike, H&M and The North Face has been honoured with numerous industry awards and featured in such publications as Fast Company, Wired, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, The Economist and the BBC News. Recent work launched with B-Reel includes the new H&M Man brand campaign with Pete Davidson and the latest campaign from The North Face, ‘We Always Have Your Back.’

“I plan to help write the next chapter for B-Reel as it continues to grow. The world seems to be upside down, with our industry once again teetering on chaos. But this is where our agency really thrives,” Zack said. “B-Reel is also looking for great people to join as we respond to increasing demand, especially in the creative department. In recent months, B-Reel has won new clients including HelloFresh, Activision, Ramsbury Estates, H&M Beauty and The North Face, among others.

Zack’s role commences immediately.
