B-Reel Hires Patrick Gardner as Executive Producer

Creative studio B-Reel has appointed Patrick Gardner as executive producer and business development lead for its Los Angeles’ operation.

Patrick has been at the forefront of digital innovation, having previously co-founded Stockholm-based Houdini Digital Creations in 1999. He went on to co-found Perfect Fools in 2002, where he led the overall business and was involved hands-on in producing, growing the production process and mentoring producers and teams. Perfect Fools was ranked one of the top interactive production companies by Creativity and named a leading independent agency internationally in Campaign. From 2019 to 2021, he was SVP Growth with lead responsibility for several key accounts at MediaMonks, the digital-first marketing and technology services company.

At B-Reel, Patrick will be expanding the agency’s reach across a greater number of brands and entities, combining storytelling, technology and culture to help some of the world’s leading organisations forge genuine human connections through humane innovation and intelligent design.

Patrick has a prolific presence among the industry, having contributed digital marketing thought leadership for leading publications and served on many awards juries, most recently as chairman of Sweden’s Guldägget (Golden Egg) 2021 Craft jury, and a member of International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the Webby Awards jury. In his time at Perfect Fools, the agency won 16 Cannes Lions, including a Grand Prix, alongside many other awards.
