B-Reel Appoints David Newsome as Global Head of Growth

In newly created role, Newsome will work with the creative department to oversee new business, organisational and global growth

Independent creative agency B-Reel has appointed David Newsome as global head of growth. Reporting into managing director Oscar Erlandsson, David will work across the agency’s creative portfolio to help win new business, retain teams and turbo-charge growth.

Based in London, David joins the agency at a time for significant development, with teams in B-Reel’s Stockholm and Brooklyn working as one international team across all projects. B-Reel also has a specialist digital product and experience design Studio in LA and Barcelona.

David has spent the past year working as a consultant with B-Reel Stockholm handling a variety of projects with clients including Google, HelloFresh and Stokke.

His new role will see him working with the senior leadership team in continuing to create  a culture of growth and innovation. B-Reel was recently named in AdAge’s fastest growing agencies.   

In his previous role as a group account director at Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam, David led a cross-functional team combining staff from brand management, the creative and strategy departments. Before that he was Group Brand Director based at the agency’s office in Portland, Oregon.

David says: “B-Reel has great momentum right now and I couldn't be more excited to come on board to help it grow. This will be a new role for both me and the agency which makes it all the more of a challenge, luckily I have a great team to figure it all out with.
