Audio Network, the international music group specialising in music for television, film and digital media, has appointed Robb Smith as Group CEO. Smith joins the business from Studiocanal, where he held the role of Chief Operating Operator UK and Executive Vice President of Global Digital Strategy.

Smith brings with him over 20 years of media and entertainment experience in the US and Europe, encompassing sales, marketing, operations and general management. He has worked at both independent and major US studios including New World Entertainment, MGM and Universal and latterly, Studiocanal, part of Canal+.
Born in LA, Smith started life as a musician. He moved to the UK permanently in 2003.
Andrew Sunnucks, co-founder and Chairman of Audio Network, said: “Robb really is the perfect fit for us. He has a comprehensive knowledge of our core customers as well as a detailed understanding of the changing media landscape. He is passionate about music and shares our ambition to make Audio Network the best option for music users and composers alike.”
