Intuit QuickBooks is launching a content series developed by FCB Montreal, featuring award-winning multihyphenate Antoni Porowski of Queer Eye fame. In the series, QuickBooks and Antoni come together to support local businesses, with Antoni stepping into the role of an employee for a day at small businesses across Canada.
From a hot sauce brand run by a female surfer to a Korean fried chicken spot staffed by neurodivergent employees, from a BlPOC-owned hockey stick company to a couple-run craft burger joint, and from a local producer of ethical smoked tofu to a company converting classic cars into electric vehicles, each episode invites viewers into the vibrant world of Canadian small businesses.
The engaging initiative shines a spotlight on innovative entrepreneurs who are redefining success through their distinct approaches to business. Throughout the series, Antoni delves into the daily grind of these diverse business owners, exploring their personal definitions of success and revealing how QuickBooks plays a crucial role in managing their operations efficiently.
“Diversity is not just a buzzword; it's the heartbeat of our communities. Supporting Canadian small businesses means celebrating the unique stories and perspectives that each entrepreneur brings to the table,” says Antoni. “It’s an honour to help amplify their voices and show how QuickBooks enables them to thrive on their own terms.”
“At Intuit QuickBooks, we want to help every entrepreneur and business owner achieve success on their own terms. Our goal is to provide an end-to-end connected platform that delivers powerful insights to save business owners time, give them complete confidence in their decisions, and put more money in their pockets, all critical components that help businesses scale, grow and ultimately thrive," said Puja Subrun, director of marketing at Intuit QuickBooks Canada.
In addition to the rich storytelling of the series, the campaign emphasises how QuickBooks empowers small business owners by streamlining their financial management, allowing them to concentrate on what truly inspires them.
“We saw an opportunity to bring QuickBooks' support role to life by showing how it enables these entrepreneurs to thrive in their pursuits and make a lasting difference in their communities,” says Alexandra-Julie Poirier, associate creative director at FCB.
The series will have a strong presence across social media, reinforcing the message that QuickBooks is the ultimate tool for those who do business differently.
