This year’s one-day Another Marketing Conference (#AMC14) will be held at global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi’s offices on Brick Lane on Thursday 24th April 2014. The event, now in its third year, has again attracted a top line up of speakers covering a diverse range of hot marketing topics, such as: causing mischief, social participation, social responsibility, gamification, creativity, behavioural economics and creating courageous content.
Speakers include:
• Harry Dromey, Mischief Champion at Paddy Power
• Laura Jordan Bambach, president of D&AD
• Tom Roope, founder of The Rumpus Room
• Ed Beard, Head of Creative Strategy at DigitasLBi
• Steven Johnson, founder of Considered
• Doug Kessler, Creative Director at Velocity Partners
• Tim Reid, respected behavioural economics researcher.
#AMC14 is an independent event without sponsors or an accompanying exhibition. Its sole focus is to inspire and provoke marketers from across the industry and country. All speakers are invited to speak because they have something to say, rather than being asked to pay to present.
In the last two years, the event has attracted the very best speakers, including: Dave Trott (The Gate London), Rory Sutherland (Ogilvy), Paul Berney (Mobile Marketing Association), Richard Murphy (Nokia), Jon Dodd (Bunnyfoot), Julie Roberts (TMW), Mark Earls (Herd), Graham Hales (Interbrand), Thomas Messett (Nokia), Hanne Tuomisto-Inch (Google) and many others.
Neil Cooper, host and organiser of Another Marketing Conference, said: “Following the typical ABCs of conferences has never appealed to us. As marketers ourselves, we didn’t want to hear from people who’ve paid to speak or meet vendors forcing their wares upon us during breaks. Instead we wanted to create an event where we could explore key strategic topics and share experiences and ideas. If you are going to pay to take a day away from the office it needs to be valuable and inspiring.”
Julia Conroy, UK PR & Marketing Director at DigitasLBi added: “We‘re delighted that this year’s Another Marketing Conference will be taking place at our Brick Lane office. The event has a great line-up of inspirational speakers from diverse backgrounds, and we’re looking forward to hearing some exciting, disruptive points of view.”
Tickets for the event start at just £199. The full agenda can be found, and places can be booked, at http://another.uk.com/
