Stink Films' Eoin Glaister teams up with Glass Animals for the fourth time

Critically acclaimed, record breaking British band, Glass Animals, launch the music video for ‘Show Pony’, the second of three tracks from their new album, ‘I Love You So F***ing Much’.

Directed by Eoin Glaister and produced by Stink Films UK, the ‘Show Pony’ music video is a western-inspired tale of an unlikely friendship, with a tragicomedic twist. Alien meets cow, what could go wrong?

Shot on location with production services from Stink Films Mexico, the promo leans into the '70s theme aesthetics that is synonymous with the band and hinges on ingenious craft. From tailormade alien costumes, to prosthetics, miniatures, and wrangling a cohort of disobedient cows, all stops were pulled out to bring the surreal story to life.

Cinematographer Natasha Duursma worked closely with Eoin to create a convincing world where aliens and cows are indeed friends, while the art department team recreated a real life barn as a maquette that they could easily set on fire.

Eoin Glaister, director, Stink Films “Dave had a personal story he wanted to play out through aliens. I ran with this and added a cow. Naïve really, given how hard they are to direct. We shot this in Mexico which was an incredible experience. Locations were stunning, crew were exceptional, cast ideal and the constant quesadillas spot on. Other than a run in with the Mexican army and being extorted by the police, the shoot was a breeze.”
