Director Daniel Gill launches spot for new men's grooming range 'Bayolea'

To complement the launch of their extensive new Men’s Grooming range, Penhaligon’s have worked with The Just So Collective, part of Just So to produce a beautiful animated film; revealing a mysterious alternative story of the fragrance’s creation. 

The film was directed and animated by Daniel Gill from The Just So Collective alongside a team from Just So. The film was a labour of love for all concerned and is a beautiful testament to what can be achieved when creative people put their heads together.


“Working with Just So felt right from our first meeting and an initial concept has been interpreted wonderfully by Daniel. Daniel Gill the director said of his experience: "The challenge of creating a highly creative and beautiful film with fairly tight production restrictions was one that I relished. On feature films we are expected to shoot 2 seconds of animation on a good day, on this film we were having to shoot almost 10 times that but without sacrificing the quality. The challenge was to approach each shot in an inventive and efficient way."
