Altiplà Films Brings Vini Junior to the Streets of Madrid for Rexona Copa America Spot

Altiplà Films carried out a full scale production service in Madrid, working on the vibrant Rexona Copa America TV commercial featuring Vini Junior. Partnering with Agile Films London, the streets of central Madrid were transformed into a lively Brazilian market for the ad, directed by Gio Bruni and shot by Carl Burke.

Carles Paune, Altipla’s head of production, shared his excitement, “It was a real pleasure to have Agile back in town, especially with such a big and exciting challenge.”

The standout production design was handled by the well-known Madrid duo Dear Fucking Love. Their goal was to create an authentic feel, and they nailed it. “We wanted the client to feel like they were in a real Brazilian market” they said. Everything, from Portuguese-labeled products to market stalls, was created from scratch to make it look genuine.

Working with football star Vini Junior was a key highlight. Altipla collaborated with top Spanish sports choreographer Eric Caralt and Film Sport to ensure everything went off without a hitch.

Casting was crucial for this project. Altipla’s in house casting team focused on street casting, bringing in over 50 diverse cast members, including doubles and Portuguese speakers, to keep the vibe authentic and inclusive. 

“Altipla can adapt to any situation and meet our client's needs. We’ve enjoyed putting together mid-size photoshoots for Agile Films before, and it was thrilling to take on a full-scale street closure shoot this time”  Paune added.
