Altiplà Films partners with Rankin Film to produce the music video for The Script’s latest single

Directed by Jordan Rossi and shot by DP Toby Leary, the project showcased the band in a breath taking yet remote quarry near Barcelona. The raw, dramatic setting provided the perfect backdrop for a production that combined striking visuals with precise logistic execution.

The production centred around a massive truck, transformed into a stage for The Script’s performance. This ambitious concept required intense preparation, including multiple rehearsals and strict safety measures to ensure the band’s security during the dynamic shoot. .

The truck became a character in itself, moving gracefully through the barren landscape, its motion choreographed in sync with the music. The coordination between the direction  team and the technical crew was seamless, a testament to Altipla Films’ ability to manage even the most complex elements of a shoot with confidence and precision.

In addition to the quarry, the team captured key scenes in a stunning modernist house in a nearby village. The sleek, architectural elegance of this location added a refined layer of contrast to the video, balancing the rugged outdoor shots with a sense of intimacy and sophistication. The juxtaposition of these two settings enriched the visual storytelling, perfectly complementing the song’s tone and lyrics.

Collaboration was at the heart of this production. Working alongside Rankin Film’s producer, Elliot Zelmanovits, Altipla Films demonstrated its commitment to fostering a cohesive and productive atmosphere on set. Every department worked in harmony, and the spirit of mutual respect and trust among the crew was palpable throughout the shoot. This unity not only streamlined the process but also elevated the creative output, ensuring the final product met the highest standards.

Reflecting on the project, Carles Paune, Altipla’s producer, expressed his pride in the team’s work, “Bringing this vision to life in such a remote and challenging location required precision, creativity, and an incredible team effort. The result is something we’re all immensely proud of.”

A key element of this project’s success was the expertise and professionalism of local location managers, particularly those with deep knowledge of the Garraf council. Their understanding of the unique features of the quarry and nearby villages was invaluable, allowing the production to maximise the potential of these settings while navigating logistical challenges with ease. “We are incredibly grateful for the support and experience of our local partners” said Carles Paune. “Their insights and dedication were essential to bringing this vision to life.

Altipla Films continues to demonstrate that its strength lies in leveraging not only its internal expertise but also the rich resources of local collaborators, ensuring every production is grounded in authenticity and executed to perfection.
