Alloy Digital Adds Ushma Patel as Group Account Director

Alloy Digital, a software development and technology consultancy that enables fearless digital growth through technologies driven by behavioral science, has hired Ushma Patel as group account director. Ushma will report to Alloy Digital president Matt McKenzie.

In her new role, Patel will be the key liaison between internal execution teams and key client stakeholders on all project-, product- and account-level engagements. As a trusted advisor who provides strategy, she will have oversight of client interactions with an emphasis on relationship development and critical thinking, and lead client partner strategy, client proposals, presentations, and meetings. 

She’s currently working on two key accounts - JM&A and Nucor - but will eventually expand to others. Nucor is a steel producer and JM&A is a finance and insurance company dedicated to increasing automotive dealers’ bottom-line profits.

Patel has more than 20 years of marketing experience working in a variety of industries, both nationally and in the Atlanta area. These include CPG, retail, banking/loans, financial services, telecommunications, automotive, travel, and hospitality. While working in these sectors, she’s focused heavily on digital media and client relationships. 

One key exception: In July 2017, she took a role in Client Partnership at marketing agency Ansira. This complemented her ability to build strong relationships and gave her insight on how vital collaboration across all departments is to client success. Patel stayed  at Ansira for five years—right until she accepted the Alloy job.
