Al Moseley, the executive creative director and managing partner of 180 Amsterdam, has been named president and chief creative officer after three and a half years with the agency.
Moseley’s new role represents a combination of his former executive creative director responsibilities and those of the agency’s former president, Kevin Dundas. In addition to overseeing the agency’s creative product, Al is now responsible for driving the growth of the agency and leading the 180 Amsterdam management team.
Since joining 180 Amsterdam in 2010, Moseley has helped reinvent the agency from one centered around one main client, to an agency that has multiple global clients in its portfolio, including: PlayStation, Asics, Diageo and DHL. He has been instrumental in shaping the agency’s future.
During Moseley’s time at 180 Amsterdam the shop has won PlayStation and Asics in 2011, Diageo’s Ketel One in 2012, and Qatar Airways in 2013. The agency has also produced acclaimed work across its client base, most notably for PlayStation, Western Union and Asics.
“Clients come to 180 for our work, so it makes me particularly proud as a creative person to be leading the agency,” said Moseley. “I am also in the fortunate position of being surrounded by a strong management team with tons of experience.”
Added global CEO Michael Allen, “naming Al to the position of president and chief creative officer was an easy decision for me and our chairman Chris Mendola. He is a world-class creative talent, has the respect of our clients, and is a proven leader of the agency. He has command of every aspect of our business in Amsterdam and the team is poised for great things.”
