Advertising Week Europe Director, Rebecca Eaves, said: “We are delighted to announce a superb thought-leadership agenda for this year’s Advertising Week Europe. The London edition of the Week is growing from strength to strength, and the caliber of the program underscores the best-in-class position The Week holds, both in Europe and globally.”

Advertising Week Europe will tackle the most challenging areas facing creative industry in the United Kingdom, Europe and beyond including continued disruption from digital players, trust, transparency and the rise of fake news, and growing calls for greater diversity and improved regulatory standards.

The Opening Gala of The Week will be held at The AllBright Club in partnership with Hearst and is closely tied to Advertising Week’s global commitment to gender equality, diversity, and championing inspirational women.
The Week once again kicks off in Soho with The Guardian for the annual invitation-only Ronnie Scott’s Leadership Breakfast Series. Discussions will touch on everything from Brexit, to how brands are adapting to a changing high street landscape. The Promote UK session on 20th March will focus on the UK advertising industry’s first-ever Export Month, discussing how British advertising is selling its services around the world.

Fortnum & Mason once again hosts AWE’s Culture + Commerce Luncheon Series which kicks off with Grazia and WACL on 18 March and continues each day throughout The Week.

TechX moves to Picturehouse Central (proper) showcasing leading edge technologies, in partnership with The Telegraph.

Vevo also returns with their annual late-night musical showcase, also at Ronnie Scott’s.

With a keen eye of the next generation of industry leaders, The Week will also host the Marketing Academy Boot Camp, in partnership with Sky with a full day of content on the largest stage, an elevation which reflects AWE’s commitment to young talent.

Beyond the Wrap Party, The Week’s closing nights includes a VIP reception and dinner at South Africa House hosted by High Commissioner Nomatemba Tambo, in partnership with NewsNow. The Trafalgar Square venue not only celebrates the long-standing ties between the UK and South Africa, but will also formally kick-off the run up to the first ever Advertising Week Africa which will take place in October of 2019 in Johannesburg.

Additional thought leaders will continue to be announced in the run up to March 18th. The entire agenda is organised with dedicated content blocks and tracks to enhance Delegate navigation. The 2019 calendar is now live at europe.advertisingweek.com. A dedicated app is also available for both major mobile platforms and Registration is open.
