Adstream strengthens its commitment to Hong Kong and China by initiating own operations
Adstream has taken a further step in Asia by announcing the decision to implement its own operations in Hong Kong.
The expansion is a response to the increased interest and investment of global brands and agencies in the Chinese media market, with Adstream clients in the region (which include Colgate, Nike, Hewlett Packard, Nokia, Procter & Gamble and agencies such as JWT and Y&R) demanding further services in management and delivery of digital TV and Print advertisement in Hong Kong and in Mainland China.
The new Adstream entity will be headed by Christine Sterk, newly appointed as Managing Director, effective March 1st 2011. Christine brings solid experience in the South East Asian market, having successfully founded AsiaOnTime, the Adstream Licensee and clear market leader in Malaysia.

Moritz Wuttke, COO for Adstream, said “We have analysed and listened to our clients in the West and most importantly in Hong Kong and China and decided to adopt a service model to respond more closely to their requirements. We will build the necessary support to satisfy the domestic demand from publishers and agencies and leverage our experience in more than 90 countries. We welcome Christine with her enormous amount of experience bringing the Hong Kong Print market to the next level.”
Christine Sterk said “I am thrilled about joining Adstream in their visionary international expansion. More than ever, Asia is a key region to any global organisation and there is a clear demand from companies operating in Hong Kong and across China to access Adstream’s know-how. I am very pleased we can now offer our full portfolio of services to clients whether their business are local, regional or global.”
