M&C Saatchi has appointed Adrian Jung as head of delivery to spearhead an AI production capability and operationalise its new Cultural Power positioning.
It marks a return to M&C for Adrian, who worked at the agency from 2008 to 2010 as a production manager. He joins after a two year stint as head of delivery at DDB Group Sydney. Before that, he spent a decade at Leo Burnett.
"We’re developing a new proposition around cultural power that will affect our entire group - not just how we think, but also how we make," group chief creative officer Steve Coll said.
"At the same time, we’re gearing up for the rapidly evolving revolution in production, which will include building an agile AI production capability. To help bring this vision to life, we’re thrilled to welcome back Adrian Jung as our new head of delivery. A returning M&C-er from 14 years ago, Adrian’s deep experience and passion for creative excellence make him the perfect fit to drive this transformation. We look forward to seeing the impact he’ll make on our business."
Adrian added that "it's felt quite serendipitous returning to where it all started for me."
"And [I] can safely report that the people, space, work, and vibe is still as strong some 15 years later," he said.
Steve explained last month that as part of its new positioning, the agency will focus on creating brands that add, not brands that ad.
“As a part of ‘Cultural Power,’ we’re looking to build brands that add to conversations and culture. That creates things that I care about, creates things in a world that I want to be a part of, that I feel benefit me.”
