Aardman has unveiled its latest campaign, partnering with Vanish on its Gold Crystal Whites variant. The studio’s brief ensures Vanish’s recognisable brand style isn’t compromised in the development of the animation – a first for the market-leading stain removing product.
True to form, live action remains the basis of the advert, with the charismatic presenter directed to act out scenes. Frames are cut and edited into stop-motion animated sequences. The film is crafted to be highly engaging, drawing in the audience with a burst of animated energy.
Senior brand manager at Vanish, Joanna Bacon says: “An animated advert is a first for Vanish. We’re excited for our newest film to be produced using a style and technique that Vanish isn’t known for. We’re thrilled to be creating this advert with Aardman, a company with such a huge heritage and expertise. This really shone through in their understanding of the brief and the nuances of our brand right from the outset.”
Will Studd director at Aardman comments: “We had a great time working with the team from Vanish. Joanna and the guys were super collaborative, and keen to push the creative and take the animation as far as we could.”
