180 Amsterdam today announces that managing partner Pierre Humeau will be stepping into the newly created role of international business development director. After two years leading the 180 Social and 180 LUXE units, Pierre’s shift in responsibility will see him carrying 180’s unique story of end-to-end creativity to clients and partners around the world.
This move reflects 180’s growth over the last three years and their ongoing commitment to working with the most ambitious and innovative partners, who share the agency’s vision to create ‘The World As It Could Be’.
Pierre joined the management team of 180 at the start of 2021. Alongside his business partner Laurent François, he brought the activities, clients and team from his social agency RE-UP into the agency. With his extensive expertise and experience in working with clients to help capture the power of technology, communities and digital media, Pierre will be an invaluable asset in working with clients who want to get to a better future, faster.
Pierre said of his new role: “It’s a great privilege to carry the 180 message to ambitious like-minded clients around the world. I’m excited to work with clients who want to embrace 180’s promise of creative excellence, fresh thinking and innovation. Our intent is clear: create The World As It Could Be and ultimately embed ourselves in our clients’ businesses to have a positive impact on their role in culture and on their bottom line.”
The new role will be based in Amsterdam and will involve working closely with the 180 US offices in LA and NY, as well as across 180’s other hubs in Paris, Dubai and Tokyo on new business and incremental business opportunities. It will also mean reinforcing existing partnerships with TBWA and Omnicom Group companies to develop bespoke solutions for international clients, as well as cementing strong bonds with existing and future speciality innovation and tech partners.
Stephen Corlett, COO of 180 added: “Pierre’s been incredibly successful in helping our clients harness the power of innovation and technology and ensuring that the agency has the products and capabilities to navigate the future successfully. We’re excited about him taking on this role and bringing new clients and partners into the 180 ecosystem.”
Having worked in advertising for over 20 years across Germany, France, and the UK, Pierre brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He has held key positions at agencies such as Springer&Jacoby and Fuel Agency, working with high-profile clients such as LVMH, DIOR, and L'Oréal Luxe as well as establishing his own company.view more - Hires, Wins & Business180 Amsterdam, Tue, 07 Feb 2023 10:45:00 GMT
