Creative Outpost is a boutique post production company based in Fitzrovia. Our team of artists and engineers deliver high-end VFX, Audio and Colour Grading to clients in Advertising and HETV. Founded in 2014, Creative Outpost has steadily grown and is hiring an Executive Producer as it begins its next phase of growth.
About the Role
The Executive Producer (EP) at Creative Outpost is a senior leadership role that combines production and business development skills. The EP is instrumental in identifying, developing, and converting opportunities with new and existing clients and building long-term strategic partnerships with agencies, production companies, and brands.
As an ambassador for Creative Outpost, the EP will confidently communicate the company’s vision and services to clients and the industry at large through effective marketing. A skilled negotiator, the EP leads pitches and secures work alongside senior creative staff, working to find solutions that fit the requirements of every brief.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UK sales and marketing across the business.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships with key strategic accounts.
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with agencies, production companies, and brands.
- Identify and onboard new clients, expanding the client base.
- Drive strategies for client retention and organic growth, fostering relationships with existing and lapsed clients.
- Develop a marketing strategy to help raise awareness of Creative Outpost.
- Coordinate client activities with colleagues, leveraging their relationships where necessary and collaborating to pitch and secure projects.
- Take ownership of our CRM system, ensuring client records are up to date.
- Work with the Head of Production to assess and validate client briefs, engaging internal teams only when briefs are actionable and realistic.
- Track pitch conversion rates to improve success metrics.
- Stay involved with projects you have won to advise where necessary and ensure client expectations are met (or exceeded).
- Guide team members through complex client situations, providing support and expertise.
- Share established client relationships with junior team members to aid their growth.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Creative Outpost’s vision and full range of services.
- Stay informed on trends in the global content ecosystem, with a focus on emerging technologies like AI.
Qualifications and Experience
- Comprehensive understanding of production processes, including VFX (2D, CG), Grading, Audio post, Music Comp, ADR and Design.
- 8+ years of production experience, preferably with exposure to international clients.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Enjoy entertaining and building rapport with clients from any background; attending industry events and flying the flag for Creative Outpost.
- Awareness of trends in the global content ecosystem and advertising markets.
- Passion for emerging technologies and their application in creative production.
- This is a UK based and hybrid role with a minimum 3 days in the office (London).
Success Metrics & KPIs
- Meeting revenue targets for VFX, grading, and audio services.
- Expanding the client base by onboarding new brands, agencies, and production companies.
- Driving organic growth through increased opportunities with existing and lapsed clients.
