Mustache is seeking a social media savant who eats, sleeps and breathes internet culture and social media in its many app-based forms. Ideal candidates will have previous experience coordinating social campaigns for brands/organizations with scope to think creatively about the execution of content that speaks to each platform—platform intentional if you will. You will work with our Creative and Social Media teams to help concept and execute content, strategize social-based campaigns, ideate social executions across our wide range of clients, research and share top trends in social media, pull weekly social reports, and support our team of social media managers. The majority of today’s top content creators have varied skills sets and interests, so whether you’re a graphic designer who is also a social media boss or a video editor/animator who moonlights as a short form content wizard for your friends band, we’re looking for a motivated creative to join our ranks. We are looking for someone to help us with the creation of low-lift social, so proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is required (Illustrator and Premiere is a huge plus as well) even though the majority of our content tends to be templatized.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Social Media Managers in propagating and managing content calendars

  • Monitor social conversations on a daily basis

  • Write/revise social copy and asset scripts on as needed basis

  • Build social assets in Adobe Photoshop

  • Community management

  • Social listening

  • Copywriting and scripting for social assets (i.e. crafting Instagram Stories, short video assets, pulling GIFs, etc.)

  • Pull analytics for weekly CM reports and campaign wrap reports

  • Ad hoc qualitative social analysis

  • Reports into the Director of Social Media

 

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years experience working on a Social team managing and creating assets for social platforms

  • Extensive social media platform knowledge 

  • Enthusiastic about innovative social activations 

  • Must be proficient in Photoshop, bonus if you have experience in Illustrator and Premiere

  • Must also have a home office/laptop set-up equipped with Photoshop and speedy wifi

  • Team player with an enthusiastic attitude

  • Highly organized and able to work across multiple projects/clients/channels

  • Main forms of communication: Google Suite, Slack, Frame.io, Airtable
