Responsible for all creative operations for a specific account(s), including staff supervision and work production. The CD directs the activities of the group in accordance with the agency’s standards of creative excellence and profitability, while exceeding client’s expectations. This person is an experienced presenter and has senior-level client contact.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Be an expert on client business beyond creative challenges
• Experience in social, digital and traditional marketing
• Contribute ideas and executions for design and copy
• Provide opportunities and guidance to help direct reports reach career goals
• Manage creative workflow/timelines/budgets through execution
• Lead larger presentations
• Bring new ideation tools and processes to the table
• Ensure team stays fresh and on top of emerging trends
• Oversee bigger picture strategy/concepting/executions
• Give solid direction and feedback for all creative disciplines (design, art direction, copywriting)
• Keep eye out for incremental business opportunities (new revenue, new clients, new resources…)
• Lead new business pitches as needed
• Assist in recruitment of new talent
• Lead by example (through respect, communication, accountability, use of resources, creativity)
